The “On the Ground” videos were the result of limited access to the outdoors during the initial growing seasons of the COVID-19 pandemic, but they were also, more than anything, the opportunity for people to see the spectacular floral diversity of Kentucky. The videos attempt to show those plants from a new and unique angle, learning some common and curious information, encourage exploration of our state, and facilitate general appreciation and value of our natural resources.
